Terms of Service
Terms governing your use of this website and our clinical services
General
These terms and conditions govern your use of this website and the clinical services provided by Ingrown Nail Surgery £286 | Podiatry Chiropody £40 | Anna Green Hendon (BUPA Verified). By using our services, you accept these terms in full.
Appointments
Appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed upon booking. We will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment or may need to be rescheduled if there is insufficient time to perform a safe and effective treatment.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient in need. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee.
Payment
Payment is due in full on the day of your treatment. We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards.
Pricing
Ingrown toenail surgery is priced on a per-toe basis. Our all-inclusive surgery packages are priced at £286 per toe for standard procedures and £500 per toe for emergency appointments. General podiatry fees are available on our pricing page and may change from time to time. All prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
What Surgery Includes
The standard fee of £286 covers the initial consultation, the surgical procedure itself, all materials and dressings used, and two inclusive follow-up appointments to monitor healing.
Medical Disclaimer
The information provided on this website is for general guidance only and does not constitute medical advice. It is not a substitute for a professional clinical assessment by a qualified podiatrist. Treatment outcomes can vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. No surgical procedure is entirely without risk, and these will be discussed with you prior to any treatment.
Informed Consent
Before any surgical procedure, you will be required to provide written informed consent. This process involves:
- A thorough explanation of the proposed procedure and its purpose
- Discussion of the expected benefits and potential risks
- Explanation of alternative treatment options
- Information about what happens if you choose not to have treatment
- Opportunity to ask questions and receive clear answers
- Time to consider your decision without pressure
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time before the procedure begins. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you understand the need for informed consent and agree to participate in this process.
Children Under 16
Patients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with parental responsibility. The accompanying adult must provide written consent for any proposed treatment on behalf of the child.
Medical History
It is your responsibility to provide an accurate and complete medical history to your podiatrist. Withholding relevant medical information may impact the safety and effectiveness of your treatment.
Complaints
We strive to provide the highest standard of care. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your care, please contact the clinic directly in the first instance so we can resolve your concerns. Our regulatory body is the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
BUPA Fee Assured Provider
Anna Green is a BUPA Fee Assured provider (Member 310655). BUPA patients are billed directly through BUPA where your policy covers podiatry services. We will provide all necessary documentation and treatment codes to support your claim. In the event that BUPA refuses to cover the cost of treatment (but not merely delays payment), the patient becomes liable for the full fee. Please verify your coverage with BUPA before your appointment.
Private Health Insurance
We also work with other private health insurers including Aviva, Vitality, and additional providers. Patients with private health insurance are responsible for confirming their coverage details with their insurer before beginning treatment. Payment is due on the day of treatment regardless of insurance status; reimbursement is a matter between the patient and their insurance provider.
Clinical Photography
As part of your clinical records, we may take photographs of your condition. These images form part of your confidential medical record. Any use of photographs for educational or marketing purposes would require separate, explicit written consent from you.
Remote Assessment via WhatsApp or Digital Services
We may offer informal preliminary assessment of your condition via WhatsApp photographs or other digital means. Any such assessment is informal and indicative only, does not constitute a clinical diagnosis, and cannot replace an in-person consultation. By submitting photographs or other information digitally, you acknowledge that remote assessment has inherent limitations and you waive any claim arising from reliance on an informal digital opinion. A formal diagnosis and treatment plan can only be provided following an in-person clinical assessment.
Emergency Appointments
We endeavour to offer emergency appointments as promptly as possible, subject to clinical availability. While we have historically been able to accommodate most emergency patients within 24 hours, this timeframe is indicative and not guaranteed. Emergency availability may extend beyond 24 hours depending on clinical schedules and demand. By booking an emergency appointment, you acknowledge this and waive any claim based on a legitimate expectation of treatment within any specific timeframe.

Governing Law
