Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making this website and our clinic accessible to everyone

Our Commitment

We are committed to making our website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What We Have Done

We have taken the following steps to improve accessibility on our website:

  • Semantic HTML: The website is built with a logical document structure and semantic HTML, which helps screen readers and other assistive technologies understand the content.
  • Keyboard Navigation: The website is navigable using only a keyboard.
  • Screen Reader Compatibility: We have used ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) labels and attributes where necessary to improve compatibility with screen readers.
  • Colour Contrast: We have ensured that text and background colour combinations have sufficient contrast to be easily readable.
  • Responsive Design: The website layout is responsive, ensuring it is usable across a wide range of devices and screen sizes.
  • Readable Typography: We have chosen clear, legible fonts and appropriate font sizes.
  • Descriptive Links: Link text is descriptive to help you understand the destination of the link. We avoid using generic phrases like "click here".
  • Image Alt Text: All meaningful images on the site have alternative text descriptions.

Known Limitations

We are aware of some limitations and are working to address them:

  • Third-Party Content: Some embedded third-party content, such as our Calendly booking widget, may have accessibility limitations that are outside of our direct control. We encourage you to view their respective accessibility statements.

Our Clinic

Physical accessibility is also important to us. Our clinic at Sabel Chemist, 116 Brent Street, Hendon, London NW4 2DT is located at ground floor level with step-free access from the street, making it accessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.

If you have any specific accessibility requirements or concerns ahead of your appointment, please contact us so we can make appropriate arrangements to ensure your visit is comfortable and safe.

Feedback

We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility. If you experience any difficulty in accessing this website or our services, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

You can contact us by phone on 0208 202 6008 or via WhatsApp. We will do our best to help you and will use your feedback to make improvements.
