The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, so you should not feel pain during surgery. The anaesthetic injection itself causes a brief sharp sting lasting a few seconds. Most patients describe the experience as much less painful than they expected.

Yes. Anna treats children of all ages and there is no minimum age. Active teenagers are one of the most common groups she sees for ingrown toenails, as tight football boots and rugby studs put pressure on the nail edges.
