Ingrown Toenail Surgery for Whetstone & Totteridge

Anna uses the phenol matrixectomy technique — the gold standard for permanent ingrown toenail resolution. The procedure takes around 60 minutes under local anaesthetic, and success rates are 90–95% when proper technique and aftercare are followed. Anna offers both Partial Nail Avulsion (removing just the ingrown edge) and Total Nail Avulsion (removing the full nail) — the right choice depends on the extent of the ingrowth, and sometimes a hybrid approach works best. Standard surgery costs £286 all-inclusive: consultation, procedure, materials, and two follow-up appointments. Emergency surgery within 24 hours is £500.
